The audience in Makó became a part of a special musical experience when two international students of the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts of the University of Szeged, Anu Purevtogtokh (Mongolia) and Ana Beatriz Guedes (Brazil), gave a concert. The program featured classical piano masterpieces, including works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt and Schumann, as well as a piece by a Brazilian composer.
The event was truly special since the young artists presented their repertoire while preparing for their graduation concert. The performance was not only an artistic experience, but it also reflected the high-quality piano training that the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts of Szeged University provides for its students.
Pianist Dr. Zsuzsanna Császár, a professor at the Faculty - for whom this event in Makó was particularly important, as she also began her career in this city - played a prominent role in organizing the concert and preparing the young and talented pianists.
The presence of international students and their high-level musical performance are perfect examples of how the Faculty is a widely recognized center of classical music education not only domestically but internationally, too.
