New edition of the Pablo Casals International Award for Young Cellists

Open call for the Pablo Casals International Award 2022, which aims to support young cellists in their studies so they can perfect their technique and develop their art through training with top teachers.

The Pablo Casals International Award is open to cello students from around the world born after 31 December 2000.

Who is eligible to participate?

Are you a young cellist and would like to extend your studies with the instrument? Take part in the Pablo Casals International Award for Young Cellists and benefit from the opportunity to continue your studies with prestigious teachers.

The Pablo Casals International Award is open to all cellists who meet the following requirements:

Cello students of any nationality who were born after 31 December 2000.

The winners and finalists of a previous edition cannot apply to the Pablo Casals International Award.

The deadline for applications is 17 May 2022

Prizes

The 2022 edition of the Pablo Casals International Award for Young Cellists will offer three prizes:

1st Prize - 18.000 €

AENA Special Prize - 12.000 €

3rd Prize- 6.000 €
