The Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition is an international piano competition dedicated to young pianists, inspired by the legacy of Carl Filtsch, one of the most extraordinary piano talents of the Romantic era. The competition aims to support artistic development, encourage musical excellence, and offer young pianists an international platform early in their careers.
Applications are open until 6th May 2026
The 2026 edition will take place 6–11 June in Sibiu, Romania, at the Sibiu State Philharmonic.
