The Ministry of Human Capacities has ordered that all urgent interventions that do not require immediate health care should be postponed until the current state of emergency is terminated. The University of Szeged places high priority on preventing the spread of the coronavirus and informing the population about the situation, therefore the institution has taken immediate measures to delay the care of patients who are not in urgent need.
A change in health conditions that would, in the absence of immediate medical care, result in immediate life-threatening or serious or irreversible damage to the patient is considered to be an urgent need.
